Bajaj Auto recorded the highest ever motorcycles sales any January when it sold 2,94,439 motorcycles in the month of January 2012 as compared to 2,75,622 units in the corresponding period last year. It thereby recorded a growth of 7pc for the month. Similarly for three-wheelers also it was the highest sales for any January. It sold 43,436 units in January 2012 as compared to 37,961 units, growing by 14pc. Total sales also was the highest ever sales for any January. Exports too recorded highest ever for any January. Total exports of vehicles stood at 1,16,996 units compared to 1,03,526 units in January 2011.
